History comes alive with Maryland Humanities’ FREE Chautauqua living history performance series each July. Audience members meet historical figures then participate in a thoughtful dialogue with each character. Chautauqua 2017 celebrates the centennial of the United States’ entry into World War I with three characters:  W.E.B. Du Bois, an early twentieth-century African American activist; General John Pershing, one of America’s most accomplished generals; and President Woodrow Wilson, leader of the Progressive Movement.

NOTE: This performance is indoors

This program is funded in part by a grant from the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences, with revenues provided by the citizens of Baltimore County
