Wor-Wic Community College hosts Author Diane Glancy as part of their 2018-2019 “Year of the Arts” celebration.
Diane Glancy is professor emeritus at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she taught Native American Literature and Creative Writing. Currently she teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The author of more than twenty books, Glancy’s latest are It Was Over There by That Place and The Book of Bearings. Glancy is a member of the First Families of the Cherokee Nation. This event is free and open to the public as part of the 9th Annual Echoes & Visions Reading Series. It is made possible by the generous funding provided by the Arts & Humanities Department, the Cultural Diversity Committee, and a grant from Maryland Humanities.
