Everyone has a natural, legal right to water that is swimmable, fishable, drinkable. The Coastkeeper is a voice for the water. Kathy Phillips, Assateague Coastkeeper, is an on the water advocate who protects coastal bays, standing up to polluters and granting the right to clean water.

Maryland Humanities is a statewide, educational nonprofit organization that creates and supports educational experiences in the humanities that inspire all Marylanders to embrace lifelong learning, exchange ideas openly, and enrich their communities.
