Take a look back at how work was done in the early 20th century, in several key Maryland industries.

Exhibit materials courtesy of the Maryland Department, Enoch Pratt Free Library / Maryland’s State Library Resource Center. Sponsored by Kent County Public Library.

Open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm; Wednesday from 9 am to 8 pm; Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm through April 30.

Kent County is paying tribute to workers who have made their region what it is today. Inspired by the Smithsonian traveling exhibition, The Way We Worked, almost 30 events and exhibits are being offered in celebration.

The Way We Worked will be exhibited at Sumner Hall from March 31 to May 20, 2017.
