Karran Harper Royal, executive director of GU272 Descendants Association, will present “Jesuit Slaveholding in St. Mary’s and Beyond” in Auerbach Auditorium in St. Mary’s Hall on Thursday, April 2, at 7:00 p.m. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Royal was originally scheduled to give her presentation this past October as part of the AADS Symposium, “From Invisibility to Remembrance: Commemorating Slavery at St. Mary’s and Beyond.” This event is sponsored by Maryland Humanities and the Lecture and Fine Arts Committee.
