The Smithsonian’s traveling exhibition The Way We Worked will be on display on the second floor of Sumner Hall, along with The Black Labor Experience in Kent County: Free and Enslaved; Founders and Soldiers; Tools of the Trade; and Contemporary Work Stories on the first floor.

Open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 am – 1 pm, Fridays from noon – 7 pm, Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm, until May 20, 2017.

Kent County is paying tribute to workers who have made their county what it is today. Inspired by the Smithsonian traveling exhibition, The Way We Worked, almost 30 events and exhibits are being offered in celebration.  

The Way We Worked will be exhibited at Sumner Hall from March 31 to May 20, 2017.
