Afro Charities presents Re-Reading the News: Documenting the Legacy of Black Artists in Baltimore with Dr. Leslie King Hammond, Angela N. Carroll, and Deyane Moses.

Re-Reading the News opens with the reading of an article from the AFRO American Newspapers’ archives that will set the tone for the conversation to follow. During this event, we’ll hear from an intergenerational panel of brilliant thinkers and makers about the work they’re doing to document the legacy of Black artists in Baltimore.

This event was made possible with support from Maryland Humanities.
