The Maryland Center for the Book is a program
of Maryland Humanities with satellites at
Talbot County Free Library and the Washington County
Free Library. The Center is one of 52 state affiliates of
the Library of Congress Center for the Book.

Letters About Literature, a signature program of the
Center for the Book in the Library of Congress, inspires
young people to write to an author of a book that has
somehow changed their worldview or themselves.
