Mix & Mingle with the Author of What the Eyes Don’t See, our 2019 One Maryland One Book Selection
Maryland Humanities Board Members & Reception Co-Chairs Allyson Black & Keith Stone invite you to a private reception with Mona Hanna-Attisha, this year’s One Maryland One Book author.
Saturday, November 2, 6:00–8:00 p.m.
National Aquarium’s Harbor View Room
501 East Pratt Street, Baltimore
You’ll enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages with other literary fans and have an opportunity to speak with Dr. Mona, as well as hear her discuss What the Eyes Don’t See in conversation with fellow pediatrician and author Dr. Nadia Hashimi.
Tickets are $75 and include a signed copy of the book and a tax-deductible contribution benefiting our educational programs.
Attire: We suggest dressy casual.
Parking: We recommend parking at one of the many nearby garages or surface lots, including Parkway Lockwood Place Garage at 124 Market Place or LAZ Inner Harbor Garage at 100 South Gay Street.
Brilliant Baltimore: Our reception will take place during the newly combined Light City and Baltimore Book Festivals, so we suggest allowing extra time to park and walk to the Aquarium.
