Poetry can be serious or silly, profound or absurd, but it’s always an opportunity to explore language, meaning, and personal expression.
Join us to play a few rounds of Haikubes and take away the inspiration to play with words more often!
Space is limited, so please register to reserve your seat.
About Hikubes
Haikubes is a poetry game made up of 63 word cubes that can be used for individual writing inspiration or played as a game with friends and family. Simply roll the cubes and use the words that come up to create an expressive haiku.
This program is inspired by the One Maryland One Book 2025 selection Kin: Rooted in Hope by Carole Weatherford.
While you do not have to read the book to attend this program, we encourage you to consider it!
