Maryland History Day

On April 30th, 2022, more than 300 students from across Maryland will come to UMBC with History Day projects on the theme of “Debate and Diplomacy.” These students have moved through school and district contests to come to the State History Day Contest. As they showcase their projects, students rely on volunteers to evaluate their work and help them improve the skills they have developed through the process. After holding the contest virtually over the past two years, we’re excited to return in person with proper precautions in place.
