Please join us, an established book discussion group, and other interested community members, to discuss this year’s OMOB Kin: Rooted in Hope by Carole Boston Weatherford with art by her son Jeffery Boston Weatherford. Released in 2024 the selection is the culmination of Carole and Jeffery’s genealogical research into their personal family tree and combines poignant poems with striking illustrations to illuminate not only the authors’ family history, but also the struggles of so many Black families in America.
