One story cannot capture an entire living heritage. One strategy cannot accomplish an important mission.

In this engaging workshop, Pocomoke Indian Nation storytellers will share how generational knowledge, primary sources, interactive programs, consultations, publications, static displays, educational programs, multimedia projects and partnerships work together to preserve and interpret Pocomoke history, culture, and lifeways.

Participants will experience the Nation’s mission through distinct voices and communication styles—and leave with practical ideas for supporting accurate, place-based Indigenous education.
