THE MASON FAMILY’s Author Christopher Tilghman

Nationally-acclaimed author, Christopher Tilghman, will be discussing his process for writing the novels in his Mason Family series, and the source material. The central location of these stories is a fictionalized version of his ancestral family farm in Queen Anne’s County.

This event is one a series of public programs supporting the Smithsonian’s traveling exhibition Crossroads: Change in Rural Maryland, Maryland Humanities’ current Museum on Main Street exhibition. (The Smithsonian exhibition is on view St. Paul’s church in Oxford October 29–December 16.)
