The Prince George's Suite features the students from the county who received commendations from State Senators and Delegates at the Maryland State House in Annapolis. They were acknowledged on February 27 for awards or honors they received at the 2022 National History Day competition.

Maryland Humanities is pleased to announce the selection of "There There" by Tommy Orange for the 2023 One Maryland One Book program. The novel tells the interconnected stories of a cast of twelve Native characters from across generational lines, as they converge toward the Big Oakland Powwow.

Nineteen outstanding Maryland middle and high school history scholars received commendations from State Senators and Delegates at the Maryland State House in Annapolis. Teachers Michael Muscavage and Devin Page were also recognized for being the Maryland History Day Teachers of the Year.

"Crossroads: Change in Rural America", a traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibition, opens at Rose Hill Manor Park and Museums in Frederick on March 4. The venue serves as the fourth venue of a five-stop tour of the state, presented through Maryland Humanities’ Museum on Main Street program.
